Add the URLs of your website, your FAQ pages, or other content sources to provide meaningful answers to your customers.
How do you add links?
Adding links defines which content Smart AIgent can use as a knowledge source for generating answers.
Add a URL by clicking on Add links. You can add multiple links at the same time.
Paste the URLs in the text field. Below this field, you can add labels to the links.
You can either create a new label or select an existing label by typing the first letter of that label. Then select the confirmation checkbox and click Save.
You can also add or edit labels later by selecting one or multiple URLs and clicking the Label icon. A screen opens where you can create or select labels and save your changes.
How do labels work in Smart AIgent?
Labels are used to group URLs and control which content is used when generating answers.
You can select a label in the Smart AIgent answer configuration:
Smart AIgent will only use content from URLs that are linked to the selected label.
Labels help you structure your content by subject. This allows you to guide users through a flow, for example by asking which topic their question relates to.
Labels also reduce overlap between similar content sources, which helps improve answer relevance.
Make sure that URLs are synchronized. Unsynchronized URLs cannot be used to generate answers.
How do you synchronize URLs?
Synchronization processes the content of your URLs so Smart AIgent can use it to generate answers.
When you add URLs, their status is set to Pending. This means the chatbot cannot use them yet.
To process the URLs, click Sync all.
When synchronization is complete, the status changes to Completed.
How do you preview processed content?
Preview allows you to see which content Smart AIgent has extracted from a URL.
Click Preview (eye icon) next to a URL to view the processed text.
The displayed text represents the content that Smart AIgent uses to generate answers.
How do you test Smart AIgent?
Testing allows you to verify how Smart AIgent responds to questions based on your configured content.
Ask questions related to the topics covered in your URLs to evaluate answer quality and relevance.
For example, if a website URL is configured, you can ask questions about the topics discussed on that site.
Testing helps you identify whether content needs to be improved, restructured, or better grouped using labels.
